Manhattan Mortgage Corporation was founded by Michael Jordan (not thee Michael Jordan) in 1998. The first office was located on Manhattan Avenue in Tampa, Florida. Being a long time resident of New York, it just seemed right to call the company Manhattan Mortgage.
Because of Michaels diligent work ethic and his desire to provide first-class service to his clients, the company quickly grew. Soon, loan officers from all over the state were interested in working for a company that had such a great reputation.
Over the next several years, Manhattan Mortgage Corporation spread across Florida. Its now 15 branches, are located from Key West to Ocala. The corporate headquarters have since relocated from Tampa to Brandon.
